A lifelong New Yorker, Sandy Edry shares the typical Manhattanite’s fascination with local real estate. He’s taken that interest one step further and turned it into a successful business of selling and renting properties throughout the city. From million dollar condos in Tribeca to luxury penthouses on the Upper West Side to studios in Inwood, Sandy’s knowledge of the market and devotion to his clients led to his being named Citi-Habitats Rookie of the Year for 2006.
Before joining Citi-Habitats, Sandy spent more than 15 years as a professional journalist, including seven years on staff as a writer/editor at Newsweek magazine. Edry is a graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and has been published in various newspapers and magazines including The New York Times, New York, Inc., The Los Angeles Times and many others.
Combining his two career passions, Sandy recently signed on to become the freelance real estate editor for Manhattan Media, a chain of community newspapers that includes Our Town and the West Side Spirit.
Sandy lives in Hudson Heights with his dog and his views of the Hudson River.
